Caleb White had 14 points, Antonio Robinson and B.J. Tyson scored 13 apiece, and the East Carolina Pirates rallied to beat UCF, 71-66, in American Athletic Conference play at CFE Arena.
Terry Whisnant contributed 11 points and five assists as the Pirates (13-16, 6-10 AAC) notched their first road win of season.
The Knights (12-16, 5-12) came up short in their final home game despite shooting a healthy 52 percent from the floor. Adonys Henriquez led the way with 14 points, followed by B.J. Taylor with 10.
UCF knocked down six first-half 3-pointers and led by as many as nine with six minutes to play until halftime. The Knights went into the break with a 31-25 halftime lead.
However, ECU got hot in the second stanza and shot 63 percent from the floor. The Pirates drained 6-of-10 threes in the final frame to swing the tide in their favor.
ECU led for less than three minutes of the entire contest but went ahead for good on Whisnant's triple with just over a minute to play in regulation.
