Berdych rolls into Rotterdam final

Tomas Berdych has the chance to repeat as Rotterdam champion.

The third-seeded Czech is back in the final at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament after a 6-2, 6-1 rout of Frenchman Gilles Simon in the first of Saturday's semifinals.

Berdych, who beat reigning U.S. Open champ Marin Cilic in last year's final, will take on the winner of Saturday's second semifinal between Stan Wawrinka and Milos Raonic.

Simon, coming off an upset of top-seeded Andy Murray on Friday, was no match for Berdych. He was broken four times and converted just 49 percent of his first serves.

Berdych, meanwhile, lost just four points on his serve and won 56 of the 79 total points played in the 58-minute blitz. He improved to 4-6 lifetime against Simon.

The 2015 Rotterdam champ will earn $405,000.
