Barea, Dallas Mavericks top Utah Jazz

J.J. Barea had 22 points and the Dallas Mavericks held off the Utah Jazz 87-82 on Wednesday night.

Dirk Nowitzki posted 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Mavericks, who have won six of their last eight games.

Trey Burke tallied 16 points, six boards and four assists, Derrick Favors supplied 14 points and Gordon Hayward provided 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for Utah, which has dropped six of its last nine contests.
