NCAA Game Summary - La Salle at St. Bonaventure

Jordan Price netted 24 points and brought down five rebounds as the La Salle Explorers outlasted the St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 66-56, in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Reilly Center.

Cleon Roberts scored 20 points to help out La Salle (12-9, 4-4 A-10), which has won two games in a row. Jerrell Wright added 12 points with six boards, and Steve Zack grabbed a team-best 14 rebounds in the win.

Dion Wright collected 21 points with seven rebounds to pace St. Bonaventure (11-8, 4-4), while Youssou Ndoye added 17 points with six boards. Jaylen Adams dished out a team-best seven assists in the contest for the Bonnies, who have dropped two decisions in a row.

La Salle hit on just 37.5 percent of its first-half field goal tries, but made 5-of-16 from 3-point range to take a slight 29-27 advantage into the intermission. St. Bonaventure connected on 37.9 percent of its attempts in the frame, but shot 2-of-10 from distance.

In the second half, the Explorers made 57.9 percent of their shots, adding in 11-of-15 from the free-throw line to build on their first-half lead. The Bonnies could only make 30 percent of their tries in the period, and missed all eight of their 3-point attempts en route to the defeat.

La Salle outscored St. Bonaventure from 3-point range in the contest, 27-6, and held a slight scoring advantage from the charity stripe, 17-14.
