Marshawn Lynch speaks to the media -- in Skittles ad

"You don't feel in Beast Mode," Lynch explains. "It feels you"

GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Notoriously media-shy and Skittles-friendly Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch opened up to "reporters" about dinosaurs, cat videos and candy in a new ad for the Wrigley-made candy.

Published just prior to Super Bowl Media Day, the event Lynch famously attended incognito in an attempt to avoid in 2014, the closest the tongue-in-cheek interview gets to addressing actual football is a reference he makes to Seahawks fans -- and even that is in the context of if they are louder than a group of dinosaurs -- and his distaste for the idea of a 200-yard field.

"You don't feel in Beast Mode," a relaxed looking Lynch says, adding, "It feels you."

The video plays off of Lynch's consistent refusal to speak with NFL writers, an embargo that has already cost the running back $100,000, a number that could swell by an additional to $250,000 if he does not speak with the media on Tuesday, according to Bleacher Report.

Early reports indicate Lynch is again planning to avoid speaking with the media.
