SEATTLE, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman spoke on Deflategate ahead of the Super Bowl, saying the Patriots won't be punished due to a conflict of interest on the part of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

At a presser ahead of Sunday's big game, Sherman called out Patriots owner Richard Kraft and Goodell, saying the Patriots would not be punished for deflating their balls due to the cozy relationship between the two. He cited a photograph taken ahead of the AFC championship conference.

"Will they be punished? Probably not," said Sherman. "Not as long as Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell are still taking pictures at their respective homes. You talk about conflict of interest. As long as that happens, it won't affect them at all. Nothing will stop them."
