NCAA Game Summary - Cincinnati at Memphis

Austin Nichols scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Memphis Tigers defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats, 63-50, in an American Athletic Conference bout at FedExForum.

Avery Woodson added 14 points for the Tigers (10-6, 3-2 AAC). Kedren Johnson contributed 13 points and five assists in the win, the second in a row for Memphis.

As for the Bearcats, (11-5, 2-2), Troy Caupain scored 14 points while Deshaun Morman added 11. Gary Clark chipped in with 10 rebounds in the team's second consecutive setback.

In the first half the Bearcats shot just 39.1 percent from the field and turned the ball over 12 times. The Tigers shot 48 percent from the floor as they took a 32-24 lead into the break.

Cincinnati shot the same percentage from the floor in the second half and was only 2-of-9 beyond the arc in the frame, allowing Memphis to cruise to the comfortable win.
