Southern University will play a pair of FBS opponents in addition to its nine-game Southwestern Athletic Conference schedule in 2015.
The Jaguars will open an 11-game season at Louisiana Tech on Sept. 5 and visit Georgia on Sept. 26. This past season, Louisiana Tech captured the Conference USA West Division title and the Heart of Dallas Bowl, while SEC power Georgia won 10 games, including the Belk Bowl.
The Jaguars went 9-4 and won the SWAC's West Division title for the second straight season under coach Dawson Odums.
Southern will host four SWAC opponents on campus at A.W. Mumford Stadium: Jackson State (Sept. 19); Prairie View A&M (Oct. 17) on Homecoming; Alcorn State (Oct. 31); and Alabama A&M (Nov. 14).
