Jazz G Hood out for a week

Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood will miss at least one week due to left foot inflammation.

Hood underwent an MRI at the University of Utah on Friday after experiencing discomfort in his left heel. He will have to wear a boot on his left foot and undergo treatment before getting reevaluated next week.

The 22-year-old, who was drafted 23rd overall from Duke in 2014, has averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 22 games (five starts) this season.
