NCAA Game Summary - IUPUI at Richmond

Kendall Anthony made five 3-pointers to finish with 19 points, ShawnDre' Jones scored 11 and the Richmond Spiders beat the IUPUI Jaguars 57-53 on Tuesday.

Deion Taylor and Terry Allen both had five assists for the Spiders (7-4), who won all four of their games in the Gotham Classic.

Mason Archie II paced IUPUI (3-9) with 12 points, followed by Elijah Ray with 11. The Jaguars were coming off Saturday's overtime win against South Alabama that ended a six-game skid.

IUPUI trailed Richmond by as many as 14 in the first half before battling back to grab a 39-35 lead on an Archie 3-pointer with 11:15 left to play.

The teams went back-and-forth until Trey Davis hit a jumper to put the Spiders up 46-45 with 5:06 remaining.

Archie missed a potential game-tying jumper with five seconds to go.
