No. 15 Oklahoma routs Oral Roberts

Buddy Hield had 16 points, TaShawn Thomas scored 14 and No. 15 Oklahoma rolled to an 85-53 win over Oral Roberts on Tuesday night.

Ryan Spangler and Isaiah Cousins added 13 points each for the Sooners (7-2), who have won three games in a row since a 69-56 loss to Wisconsin on Nov. 28 in the Bahamas.

Bobby Word scored a game-high 19 points to lead Oral Roberts (4-5) and Albert Owens had 12.

The Golden Eagles played on back-to-back nights. They were coming off an 80-61 win over Missouri State on Monday in a game that was originally scheduled for Dec. 7 but was canceled because of a major power outage in Tulsa.
