Bills' Spiller set to return

Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone announced Monday that running back C.J. Spiller will be added to the active roster this week after missing the last seven games with a broken collarbone.

Spiller was injured on a 53-yard run in Buffalo's Week game against Minnesota. He was placed on injured reserve/designated to return, which allowed him to resume practicing earlier this month.

Sunday's game against Oakland is the first Spiller will to eligible to participate.

Marrone noted that even though Spiller has been cleared to play, he will not necessarily do so on Sunday. That decision will be based on practice this week.

In seven games this season, Spiller has rushed 69 times for 287 yards with no touchdowns, adding 109 receiving yards and a score on 14 catches.

Spiller has spent his entire five-year career with Buffalo. He has totaled 3,308 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, along with 153 catches for 1,179 yards and six receiving touchdowns. He has also scored on two kickoff returns.
