The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have signed running back Michael Bush on Tuesday.

Bush, 30, has not played in the NFL this season after being released by the Bears on March 10. He rushed for 608 yards and eight touchdowns in two seasons with Chicago after a productive four-year stint with the Oakland Raiders.

In his six-year career, Bush has 3,250 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns, adding 104 catches for 1,010 receiving yards and two scores.

In a corresponding move, the Cardinals released running back Kerwynn Williams.

Williams was signed by the Cardinals off their practice squad on Nov. 1 and played in one game with Arizona but did not receive any carries. Williams also played in one game for the Colts after being drafted by Indianapolis in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft from Utah State.

Arizona also released tackle Kelvin Palmer from their practice squad.
