New Orleans Pelicans guard Eric Gordon is out indefinitely with a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

Gordon suffered the injury on Saturday in a 106-94 victory against the Utah Jazz when he separated his shoulder.

The seven-year veteran will undergo further evaluation throughout this week by the team's medical staff to determine the best course of action moving forward.

In 12 games, all starts, this season for the Pelicans, Gordon is averaging 9.5 points and 2.0 assists per game.
