Bills still planning to play Sunday despite snowstorm

Ralph Wilson Stadium is blanketed in snow, but the Bills are still planning to play their Week 12 game against the New York Jets at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

A ferocious lake-effect storm dumped more than five feet of snow in the Buffalo area. Another storm is expected to drop another two feet.

The Bills estimate that they will need to clear 220,000 tons of snow in order to clear the stadium for Sunday's game.

Snow shovelers can help clear the stadium for $10 an hour, plus game tickets if they work a certain number of hours.

The NFL released the following statement about Sunday's game:

"We are working with the Bills to determine the status of the stadium. If a change to the schedule needs to be made, the league will make the decision, working closely with the club and local authorities."

Bills coach Doug Marrone said during a conference call Wednesday that they are videotaping coaches' game plan information and distributing it digitally to players.

"I can't say enough about the people of Buffalo. Words can't describe it, everyone is just helping each other."
