Devils place Clowe on IR, activate Havlat

The New Jersey Devils placed forward Ryane Clowe on injured reserve on Tuesday and activated forward Martin Havlat from IR.

Clowe's move is retroactive to Nov. 6. The 32-year-old has posted just one goal and three assists in 13 games thus far this season.

Havlat has been out of action since Oct. 21 as a result of a lower-body injury. Prior to the setback, he posted three points (1G, 2A) in five appearances.

New Jersey also recalled defenseman Seth Helgeson from Albany of the American Hockey League.
