Florida suspends F Walker for first two games

Florida suspended forward Chris Walker for the first two games of the season for violating the team's rules, annnounced head coach Billy Donovan on Wednesday.

Walker will miss the season opener against William & Mary on Nov. 15 and the game against Miami-Florida two days later. He is eligible to return on against Louisiana-Monroe on Nov. 21.

The sophomore will also be held out of the lineup in the team's exhibition game against Barry University on Nov. 6.

Walker averaged 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 18 games last season.
