LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Celebutante Paulina Gretzky, daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, announced she and embattled PGA Tour golfer Dustin Johnson are expecting their first child by posting a picture of her rapidly growing baby bump.

"@djohnsonpga & i are so excited to finally share with you all our amazing news..we're having a baby!!" Gretzky wrote on Instagram.

The newly-pregnant couple got engaged in August 2013, almost exactly a year before Johnson took an allegedly elective leave of absence from the PGA for testing positive for cocaine -- his third failed drug test. Without specifically alluding to drug abuse, in July the 30-year-old golfer admitted he would be sitting out competition "to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced."

"He's our future son-in-law and we love him dearly," the elder Gretzky told Sportnet 590 The Fan.

Shortly after Johnson announced his hiatus, it came out that Wayne warned the up-and-coming golfer to get it together or the wedding was off. For now, the greatest NHL player of all time is throwing his support behind the father of his grandchild.
