Packers release 18

The Green Bay Packers released 18 players as part of their final roster cuts on Saturday.

Also, the team placed defensive lineman Khyri Thornton on injured reserve. He was the team's third-round pick in this year's draft. Also place on IR were offensive lineman Aaron Adams, linebacker Nate Palmer and tight end Jake Stoneburner.

The releases included: guard Jordan McCray, safeties Tanner Miller and Chris Banjo, tight end Justin Perillo, running backs LaDarius Perkins and Michael Hill, defensive end Luther Robinson, cornerbacks Jumal Rolle and Ryan White, tackles Jeremy Vujnovich and John Fullington, wide receivers Myles White, Kevin Dorsey and Alex Gillett, center Garth Gerhart, defensive tackle Carlos Gray and linebackers Jake Doughty and Adrian Hubbard.

Green Bay has three quarterbacks on its roster, as Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien survived the cuts to join Aaron Rodgers.
