By The Sports Network Aug. 24, 2014 at 3:28 PM

The Buffalo Bills announced on Sunday that defensive lineman Alan Branch has been released.

The move comes less than 24 hours after Bills head coach Doug Marrone revealed that Branch was arrested, according to sources which told the Buffalo News, for driving under the influence.
