Broncos LB Trevathan carted off field with apparent knee injury

Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan was carted off the field with an apparent left knee injury.

Trevathan was taken off the field during 11-on-11 drills at Tuesday's practice.

"Danny Trevathan left with what appears to be a knee injury," Broncos head coach John Fox said via the team's Twitter account. "We'll wait and see what the results are."

The University of Kentucky product became a full-time starter in his second- career season in 2013, leading the team with 129 tackles to go along with two sacks, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.
