According to the Miami Herald, Bosch and six others were arrested and will be charged with conspiracy to distribute steroids.

A total of 13 players, including Alex Rodriguez, were suspended last Aug. 5. Rodriguez received an unprecedented 211-game suspension, while the other 12 were banned for 50 games.

Rodriguez's cousin, Yuri Sucart, an alleged go-between for the embattled slugger and Bosch, was among those arrested, the Herald also reported.

Bosch worked with Major League Baseball in its investigation.

News of the scandal first broke in January 2013 in an article published by the Miami New Times.
