Dodgers' Gonzalez exits with right knee contusion

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez left Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs with a right knee contusion.

With one out and runners at the corners in the first, Hanley Ramirez reached on a throwing error by shortstop Starlin Castro. Ramirez grounded one to the hole in between third and shortstop, where Castro tossed an errant throw to second and into right field. Dee Gordon scored on the play and Gonzalez raced around the bags, but was called out at home on a successful relay throw from right fielder Nate Schierholtz and first baseman Anthony Rizzo.
