Down 45-38 at halftime, the Shock outscored the Stars by a 25-8 margin in the third quarter en route to ending a five-game losing skid. Odyssey Sims netted seven of her 15 points during the period. Paris, who finished a perfect 9-of-9 from the field, and Skylar Diggins each had six.
Diggins totaled 19 points and eight assists, while Glory Johnson contributed a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to the victory.
Danielle Adams tallied 17 points for San Antonio in the loss, the Stars' third in a row. Sophia Young-Malcolm added 16 points and Kayla McBride and Danielle Robinson each had 15, with Robinson recording seven assists.
The Shock began the second half on fire, scoring the first 12 points of the third quarter as part of a 17-2 run that Sims capped with a 3-pointer that staked Tulsa to a 55-47 lead midway through the frame.
Sims later ended the third with a layup that put the Shock up 63-53 entering the final quarter.
San Antonio made a belated push in the fourth, with back-to-back treys from McBride and Shenise Johnson igniting a 9-1 push that pulled the Stars within 88-86 with a minute left.
The Stars trailed 92-88 with 30 seconds to go, but failed to score on their next-to-last possession and Tulsa sealed it when Roneeka Hodges hit 1-of-2 foul shots.
