Predators ink first-round draft pick

The Nashville Predators announced the signing of 2014 first-round draft choice, forward Kevin Fiala, to a three- year, entry-level contract on Tuesday.

Fiala, taken with the 11th pick, posted 11 points in 17 games for HV71 of the Swedish Hockey League.

The 17-year-old native of Switzerland participated for his home country in both the World Junior Championship and World Championship this past season.

Nashville also announced earlier in the day the signing of fourth-round pick, forward Viktor Arvidsson, to a three-year, entry-level deal.
