McCoughtry, Moore earn WNBA weekly honors

All-Stars Angel McCoughtry and Maya Moore have been named the WNBA's Players of the Week for the period from July 7-13.

McCoughtry captured the Eastern Conference award for the second time this season after averaging 22.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.3 steals in three Atlanta Dream victories.

A starter for the East squad in the July 19 WNBA All-Star Game, McCoughtry now ranks third in the league in scoring at 20.0 points per game.

Moore, the leading vote-getter for this year's All-Star Game, led the Minnesota Lynx to a 3-0 week by averaging 29.7 points and 9.7 rebounds and going 20-of-21 from the free-throw line.

The WNBA's current scoring leader at 23.7 points per game, Moore tallied 30 or more points in recent wins over Los Angeles and Tulsa.
