RIO DE JANEIRO, July 9 (UPI) -- Axelle Despiegelaere, a 17-year-old from Belgium, traveled to Brazil to support her national team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Though her countrymen lost out on the Cup, Despiegelaere returned home with a prize of her own.

Photographs of the blond beauty cheering in the stands circulated widely on social media, inspiring Despiegelaere to set up a Facebook page.

She has since garnered almost 19,000 likes and a modeling contract with L'Oreal.
