Aceves appeared in 10 games for the Yankees in May and early June before a demotion to the minors. He was pitching for the team's Triple-A affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the time of the suspension.

The veteran right-hander was 1-2 with a 6.52 ERA during his month-long stint with the Yankees.
