Dodgers activate Uribe from DL

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated third baseman Juan Uribe from the 15-day disabled list on Thursday.

Uribe has been out since suffering a right hamstring strain against the New York Mets on May 20. He also missed five contests earlier in May with the same ailment.

The 35-year-old was hitting .303 with four home runs, 11 doubles and 18 RBI through 40 games prior to the DL stint.

To make room on the roster, the Dodgers optioned infielder Carlos Triunfel to Triple-A Albuquerque.
