White Sox defeat Orioles 4-2

Alejandro De Aza drove in two runs as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 4-2, in the middle contest of a three-game set.

Alexei Ramirez supplied two hits and two runs scored and Gordon Beckham homered for the White Sox, who snapped a five-game losing streak overall as well as an eight-game skid on the road.

Jose Quintana (4-7), who was winless in his last four starts, tossed seven innings of one-run ball, giving up six hits and three walks while fanning eight batters to earn the win.

Steve Pearce homered and Adam Jones contributed two hits for Baltimore, which had its three-game win streak come to an end.

O's starter Miguel Gonzalez (4-5) conceded three runs on nine hits with three walks across five frames in defeat.
