Brewers defeat Diamondbacks 4-1

Yovani Gallardo continued his dominance over Arizona with seven solid innings Thursday as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Diamondbacks, 4-1, in the final contest of a four-game set.

Gallardo (5-4) improved to 7-0 in his 10th career start against the Diamondbacks after surrendering just one run on five hits with four strikeouts

Aramis Ramirez and Lyle Overbay both supplied two hits, a double and an RBI for the Brewers, who took three out of four games in Arizona.

David Peralta contributed two hits and a run scored and Didi Gregorius drove in the lone run for the Diamondbacks, who have now dropped seven of their last nine.

Rookie right-hander Chase Anderson (5-2) was tagged with the loss after giving up five hits and three runs -- two earned -- across six innings.
