Diggins, Bentley named WNBA Players of the Week

Skylar Diggins of the Tulsa Shock and Alex Bentley of the Connecticut Sun were named the WNBA's Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played from June 9-15.

Diggins paced the Western Conference in scoring (23 ppg) and minutes (35.9 mpg) while leading Tulsa to a 3-0 mark last week. On the season, Diggins ranks fourth in the WNBA in both scoring (19.2 ppg) and assists (5.7 apg).

Bentley guided the Sun to a 3-0 record as well after averaging 19.3 points for the week. The former Penn State star ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference in scoring (11.2 ppg), fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (.458) and seventh in assists (3.3 apg).
