PHILADELPHIA, June 15 (UPI) -- Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison had yet another run-in with a gun Sunday after his truck was shot at by two men burgling an apartment he was driving past, police said.

The incident happened at about 3:20 a.m. as Harrison drove his F-350 Ford pickup truck through Wynnefield Heights hear his hometown of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Daily News reported.

At one point, a man, clad only in boxers, flagged down Harrison, saying his apartment was being burgled and asking the former NFLer to call 9-1-1. Harrison told the man to get in the bed of the pickup, then the two burglars allegedly fired two shots toward the truck.

Neither Harrison nor the man in the bed of the truck were injured, though one bullet tore through one of the truck's tires, causing a flat.

The shooters left in a dark-colored sedan. The man in boxers said they took $500 from his apartment.

Harrison told police they could use his truck for evidence.

This isn't Harrison's first run-in with a gun. In 2008, he was accused of shooting a fellow Philadelphia resident, Dwight Dixon, after a fight and wounding a person standing nearby. No charges were filed in the case because the three men told contradictory statements about the shooting.

In 2009, Dixon was shot several times near Harrison's bar, Playmakers, and blamed the former Colts player for the attack. Dixon died two months later and his shooting remains unsolved.
