Torii Hunter scored on J.D. Martinez's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Detroit Tigers over the Minnesota Twins, 4-3, in the rubber match of a three-game series on Sunday. The Twins sent Casey Fien (3-3) to the mound in the ninth. Hunter led off with a single to left, advanced to third when Oswaldo Arcia dropped Victor Martinez's deep fly ball to right and tagged up on J.D. Martinez's sac fly to center. Detroit pitcher Joe Nathan (3-2) stranded runners on first and second in the top of the ninth to pick up the win against his former club. Rick Porcello got the start and gave up three runs on five hits with three walks over seven innings. Minnesota starter Ricky Nolasco gave up three runs on nine hits over 5 1/3 innings.

Final Score: Cleveland 3, Boston 2 (11 innings)
