The Minnesota Twins announced Monday the signing of shortstop Nick Gordon.
Gordon, 18, was selected fifth overall by Twins in last week's MLB First-Year Player Draft.

The left-handed swinging Gordon batted .494 with five home runs and 27 RBI as a senior at Olympia High School in Orlando.
He is the son of former big league pitcher Tom Gordon and younger brother of Dodgers infielder Dee Gordon.
