De Souza, Taurasi named WNBA Players of the Week

Atlanta Dream center Erika de Souza and Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi were named the WNBA's Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week on Monday.

De Souza averaged an East-best 23.5 points in a pair of Dream wins last week. She also grabbed 19 rebounds and made 20 of her 30 shots.

Taurasi averaged 20.3 points, 5.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds while the Mercury went 2-1.
