The New York Mets placed outfielder Eric Young Jr. on the 15-day disabled list Monday with a right hamstring injury.
Young felt discomfort when he stole second in the seventh inning of Saturday's 3-2 loss to Arizona. He sat of Sunday's doubleheader against Arizona as a precaution before he had a chance to see a doctor.
