Tiger Woods shows off new course in Cabo San Lucas [PHOTO]

Tiger Woods says he plans to return to Cabo next month to do more design work on new golf course.

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico, May 15 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods posted a photograph on Instagram of the progress of the construction of his new golf course in Cabo San Lucas, called El Cardonal at Diamante.

The photo features Woods standing in front of a sand pit on the seventh hole at the new course.

"Thrilled with how things are turning out at El Cardonal @DiamanteCabo," he wrote in the caption.

No word at this point on when the course will be finished, but Woods wrote inn his blog that he plans to return to the site again next month to work on it.

"My golf course design project in Cabo, El Cardonal at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, continues to progress well," he wrote. "The front nine has been grassed, as well as a few holes on the back nine. I'm looking forward to finalizing the shaping on the last few holes when I get back onsite next month. I'm thrilled with how it's turning out, and I'll share some photos with you from my next visit."
