Portland G Mo Williams unlikely to play Game 3

The Portland Trail Blazers are likely to be without reserve point guard Mo Williams on Saturday for Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series against the San Antonio Spurs.

Blazers head coach Terry Stotts informed the media in a conference call that Williams has a groin injury and would likely not be able to play in the contest at the Moda Center.

Williams is averaging 7.4 points during these playoffs. If he can't play, expect Earl Watson and Will Barton to get more time on the court.

Portland trails the best-of-seven series, 2-0, this after winning a thrilling six-game series against Houston in the first round.
