Twins fall to Indians

Asdrubal Cabrera had four hits, drove in three runs and scored twice to lead the Cleveland Indians over the Minnesota Twins, 9-4, in the finale of a four-game set at Progressive Field.

Asdrubal Cabrera had four hits, drove in three runs and scored twice to lead the Cleveland Indians over the Minnesota Twins, 9-4, in the finale of a four-game set at Progressive Field.

Michael Brantley added three hits and also drove in three runs for the Tribe, which took three of four in this set. Both Brantley and Cabrera ended a triple shy of the cycle.

Cleveland starter Justin Masterson (2-1) picked up the win, allowing four runs -- two earned -- on four hits in 6 1/3 innings. The right-hander walked four and struck out seven, helping the Indians go 5-2 during a seven-game homestand.

Josmil Pinto had two hits and Chris Colabello drove in a pair for the Twins, who have dropped three in a row after taking the series opener.
