Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Pirates put right-hander Stolmy Pimentel on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with inflammation in his pitching shoulder.
The move is retroactive to Friday, a day after Pimentel surrendered the game- winning home run to Matt Wieters in the 10th inning of Thursday's 6-5 loss to Baltimore in the finale of a doubleheader.
