LOS ANGELES, April 28 (UPI) -- Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp decided to change his walk-up music to Michael Jackson's "Black or White" when he was allegedly singled out by Donald Sterling.

In tapes distributed by TMZ and Deadspin, Sterling continues to berate girlfriend V. Stiviano about posing for photos with black athletes. Then he mentions Matt Kemp.

"I thought Matt Kemp is mixed, and he was OK, just like me," Stiviano, who is black and Mexican, told Sterling.

After discussing it with his teammates in the clubhouse, Kemp decided to walk out to "Black or White."

"It don't matter if you're black or white," Jackson sings in the chorus.

"Racism is kind of old, for real," Kemp also told the Los Angeles Times on Sunday.

"Honestly, I just feel sorry for him, that he feels that way about African American people," he added of Sterling.

"This is bigger than the game. I’m shocked people still feel that way towards Latins, blacks, white people. We’re all the same. We all bleed the same. We’re all the same people. It really doesn’t make any sense," he added.

Kemp also said that he remembered posing for a photo with Stiviano.

"I remember taking a picture but I didn’t think it would ever come to y’all talking about this. It’s crazy, man,” Kemp said. “One picture and I get linked to it. It’s crazy. I guess you have to be careful who you take pictures with now -– or just don’t take pictures. Tell everybody. If I don’t take a picture, don’t take it personal. I’ll give you an autograph, no more pictures."
