Monta Ellis provided 21 points and Shawn Marion scored 20, and Dallas took advantage of sloppy play by the Spurs to rout San Antonio 113-92 in Game 2 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

The Mavericks could have easily been up 2-0 in the series against the West's top seed, but lost the opener 90-85 on Sunday despite leading by double digits in the fourth quarter.

The Mavs turned it around Wednesday, forcing 24 Spurs turnovers that led to 33 points. Dallas snapped a 10-game skid against the Spurs.

Dirk Nowitzki had 16 points, two less than teammate Devin Harris. Jose Calderon chipped all 12 of his points during the third quarter.

Manu Ginobili totaled 27 points off the bench for San Antonio, which made half of its shots from the field. Tony Parker had 12 points and Tim Duncan 11.

Game 3 of the best-of-seven set is Saturday afternoon in Dallas.
