Matt Dominguez and Marc Krauss both homered and Dallas Keuchel held Seattle to two runs in six innings as the Houston Astros took the opener of a three-game set from the Mariners, 7-2, on Monday.

Keuchel (2-1) allowed six hits and struck out eight to help Houston halt a seven-game slide. Alex Presley went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Dexter Fowler stole two bags in the win.

Abraham Almonte drove in both runs and Stefen Romero had two hits in Seattle's seventh straight defeat. Felix Hernandez (3-1) went seven innings, allowing six runs -- two earned -- with a season-low four strikeouts in his first defeat of the season. The former Cy Young winner fanned at least eight batters in each of his first four starts.
