Karri Ramo made 31 saves for his second shutout of the season to help the Calgary Flames deal the New Jersey Devils a crippling 1-0 loss on Monday.

The defeat was a stinging blow to New Jersey's playoff hopes, as the team is three points back of the Columbus Blue Jackets for the final wild card spot. New Jersey has just three games left, while Columbus has four.

Mark Giordano scored the only goal of the game for the Flames, who have won three straight for the first start since a five-game run from Jan. 22-Feb. 1.

Cory Schneider gave up one goal on 22 shots. for the Devils, who had won three of four coming into the game.
