Dolphins add Rodgers, Cone and Rios

Davie, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Dolphins have signed quarterback Jordan Rodgers and wide receivers Kevin Cone and Michael Rios to one-year contracts.

Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, spent 12 weeks on the practice squad of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season after going to training camp with Jacksonville.

A two-year starter at Vanderbilt, Jordan Rodgers threw for 4,063 yards with 24 touchdowns for the Commodores.

Cone appeared in 29 games over the past two seasons with the Falcons and was also part of Atlanta's practice squad in 2011. He has one catch for 12 yards in his limited NFL career and last year contributed seven special teams tackles in 16 games.

Rios, a Miami native and a product of Marist, was waived by Arizona before the start of training camp last July.
