Real estate mogul Donald Trump says people have approached him about buying the Buffalo Bills and he says he is considering it.
"People have actually talked to be about the Bills," Trump told WBEN radio. "I know so many people in Buffalo and they ask me about and I certainly will look at that. It's something I think that is really vital to the area."
He also said that he would not move the NFL team from its hometown. "It's a storied franchise. If it were me, I'd keep the team in Buffalo."
There is one problem, though. If Trump is serious about owning the Buffalo Bills, he would have to give up his stake in casinos. NFL owners are not permitted to own stake in casinos due to gambling conflict of interest. Trump could be partial owner but not primary share owner unless he relinquishes his casino holdings.
