March 31 (UPI) -- In news that won't shock anyone who's familiar with Dennis Rodman's flamboyant sense of style, the retired NBA star played an exhibition game in drag on Sunday.

Rodman, sporting a bleach-blonde mohawk, full eye makeup and purple lipstick, joined other former NBA players Gary Payton, Latrell Sprewell and Vin Baker for the Legends of Basketball Tour game in Buenos Aires.

This isn't the first time Rodman has appeared in drag. The 52-year-old proponent of "basketball diplomacy" famously wore a wedding dress to his book launch in 1996.
