Hingis wins Key Biscayne doubles title with Lisicki

Key Biscayne, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Martina Hingis returned to the winner's circle on Sunday, partnering with Sabine Lisicki for the doubles title at the Sony Open.

Hingis and Lisicki earned a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 victory over Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Safarova in the championship match.

It was the 38th career doubles title for Hingis, who returned to competitive tennis in doubles last year after retiring in 2007. She played five events with Daniela Hantuchova in 2013, then joined Lisicki for the first time a couple of weeks ago at Indian Wells.

Hingis also has 43 career singles titles, including five Grand Slam wins. She captured the Australian Open from 1997-99 and won the Wimbledon and U.S. Open championships in 1997.
