Oklahoma City Thunder player Kevin Durant said that if he was a general manager, he'd draft Texas A&M quarterback phenom Johnny Manziel in the top five.

Durant said he was impressed with Manziel's pro day, which he held Thursday in College Station, Texas.

“I seen the beginning of Johnny Football’s pro day and I was really impressed that he threw in pads and a helmet,” Durant said. “Everybody is throwing in shorts and a T-shirt and he wanted to take the challenge and do something different. You gotta applaud that."

“I would take him in the top five, if I was a GM,” Durant added. “He might not be the tallest or the strongest, but he’s gonna go out there to play to win and give his all on every play.”

Durant said he's a huge fan of Manziel and "wishes him the best" with his career.
